It was before Covid hit our everyday lives, when at this point in time our days were just normal, that a group of local ladies met each week to enjoy a natter while using their creative skills for making their own personal embroidery. It was a coincidence that one of our ladies, Ruth, had found a very large piece of unfinished embroidery at home, belonging to her late Mother. She thought it would be a great idea to spend each Wednesday afternoon progressing with this vast unfinished embroidery piece in loving memory of her Mum.

Going forward about three years to the present day she has at last completed this embroidery showing a charming floral woodland scene set during the Spring-time. She has every intention of framing the needlework and hanging this on the wall at her home with the satisfaction that she has now completed this special woodland scene that her Mother once started.

Congratulations Ruth for your hard work and perseverance on completing such an intricate, colourful and beautiful piece of embroidery.
