Retreat in West Wales 28th to 30th March 2025
Make it in Wales Retreat
Let’s think ahead to the spring…..
I am planning for you, a relaxing and creative weekend designed for individuals, friends, couples or singles who would like to get together to learn, relax, share stories and eat great food.
Taking place in the wonderful Ceridwen Centre, West Wales. You are invited to come on your own or with a friend or partner to enjoy the company of others and to be part of a small group of people.
The idea is to relax, indulge yourself a little and focus on yourself and the year ahead.
My aim is for you to leave having taken in some local fresh Welsh air (weather permitting) feeling refreshed, inspired and hopefully to have learned a new skill or two.
We have put together some lovely activities to inspire you. Storytelling, yoga, mindfulness and sewing, with lots of time built in for you to relax.
Ceridwen is nestled in the West Wales countryside, down a winding road, you could be anywhere in the world!
My plan for us, is this:
Ceridwen house sleeps 19 people with 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms but I would like to keep the group to just 10, 12 maximum. There are options for you to share a twin room or to go for a double or single. It’s going to have to be on a first come/first served basis.
I will be booking the dairy which is a lovely large space opposite Ceridwen House for the workshops.
Our team
In the evening we will be sitting down with our great friend Pippa Davies, who’ll be sharing research for a forthcoming book ‘Age Like An Artist’, where she asks “can creativity help us age better”?
Nia, a yoga specialist, runs BeYou yoga from her studios in Cardigan and will be giving a session on relaxation.
Ruth Adams …. From Release your shooting star will be running a collage session for you to reflect on last year and for you to cement your plans and aspirations for 2025
4hr Vision Board Workshop.
The first 3 hrs working together, after this point everyone will have made their board.
The last hour is for exploring your own vision board and identifying actions you might ttake, and also briefly sharing your board with others. Ruth’s experience of running in-person workshops is that by this point you will all be invested in each other's dreams too and you will wish to see what everyone else has on their board.
…and for those of you who wish to be creative Suzi will be working with you. We will be getting out the sewing machines and working with Melin Tregwynt fabric to make a cushion cover, bag or purse.
Our food will be prepared for us by the very talented Liz Haughton….
We wish you to leave feeling inspired, refreshed and having created time and (head) space for yourself. There are dog friendly rooms too, so you could bring your pooch along as well if you wish.
Please add your name to the waiting list and once we have enough people interested we will let you have more information.
The details:
Full weekend (Friday midday to Sunday afternoon) price is £615 this includes
Accommodation at room chosen first come first served
